Learn to paint your House with Watercolors in this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop!
When: Saturday, November 14, 12-4pm
Where: Verona Maker Space in Arthouse 360, Verona, WI
Cost: $95
I will sketch out your House before the class, and we’ll learn how to paint them step-by-step. This class is very similar to my Paint your Pet nights, but just with Houses!
You’ll paint an 8×10 inch custom house painting- all supplies are included. You’ll also get a two page color instruction sheet with tips for painting different items of your house (roof, siding, bricks, windows, landscaping, ect)
This class makes for a great Holiday gift for your parents or partners!
Types of Houses you CAN paint:
-Single Family homes (can be two stories)
-Cottages or rental homes
-Business storefronts
Types of Houses that do NOT work:
-Apartment Complexes
-Businesses that are too large (you can paint just the main entrance
When you register for this workshop, you will need to email me a picture of your house before the start of class. I will email all participants 2-3 weeks before class with instructions for how to take good reference photos of your house or business. (i.e. which angles, ect.)
Workshop Schedule:
12-2pm: Outlining our Sketches with Black Micron Pen, then first washes of our siding, roof, and windows
2-2:30pm: Short break- feel free to bring drinks and snacks. Or, there is an Icky Sticky next door if you’d like to leave and purchase a coffee, ice cream, or snack from them.
2:30-4pm: Finishing up our painting
*One building per painting, one painting per person
