I schedule my pet portraits in the order they are purchased. It can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month depending on my backlog of orders. The holiday season is always busy- please order with at least 4 weeks anticipation if possible.

In order to paint your pet, I will need a clear photo of the head of your pet. When you complete your purchase on my website, you will be prompted to fill out a form asking about your custom piece. When you finish the form, I will email you and request reference photos at that time.

Visit my shop to choose the size of portrait you prefer. Upon checkout, you will be prompted to answer a few questions about your pet portrait including the name of your pet and color preferences. After completing your purchase, I will email you to request reference photos and to set a tentative completion date.

Yes. However, I am only able to add multiple pets starting at the 11x14 inch size. Anything smaller than that doesn’t allow enough room for me to add multiple pets. In my shop, there is a listing for an 11x14 inch with 2 pets and an 11x14 inch with 3 pets. If you would like more than 3, please email me with your inquiry.

Upon completing your purchase, I will email you a list of tips for choosing a good reference photo. You are able to send me multiple photos and I can help you decide which photo will translate the best into watercolors.

You may be surprised at what I am able to work with! If you aren’t sure about the usefulness of your picture, please email it to me before purchasing and I will give you my honest opinion about whether or not I can use your reference photo.

Most of the time, yes! Please email me with your inquiry. Depending on the size of the item, there might be a small upcharge for including it in your final painting. Most bows and collars are free to include.

Yes! I offer local pick up at my Fitchburg, WI location. If you are picking up your portrait, I also offer very affordable matting and framing.

Yes. There will be a charge for international orders. Please send me an email with your complete address before purchase so I can give you a quote.

Yes! I have painted bunnies, birds, horses, stuffed animals, and guinea pigs.
