Travel Watercolor Journal Basics
In this 2 hour class, you will learn and practice basic watercolor techniques to
start your own watercolor travel journal for your summer adventures! We’ll
practice line and wash, gradient skies, clouds, and basic water techniques so
you can take your watercolors with you anywhere in the world. All supplies
included to paint 3-4 mini scenes. Skill level: Beginner

Juicy Strawberries in Watercolors
In this 2 hour class, you will learn how to paint some juicy strawberries using watercolors. We'll use masking fluid and look at how to use an underpainting to add shadows and highlights. This class is great for beginners as the template is printed onto your watercolor paper.

Paint with Me: Harmon the Rhino (Adult+Child)
It's time to make some art together!
This class is designed for an adult 18+ to paint with their child/grandchild/niece/nephew. Your ticket price will include two spots- one for you and one for your child. Each of you will paint your own portrait of Harmon, Henry Vilas Zoo's White Rhino. Use professional watercolor paper, paints, and supplies while learning basic watercolor techniques.
No drawing is required as the rhino is printed onto your watercolor paper. All supplies included.

Swiss Cows Watercolor Class at Schumacher Farm
In this 2 hour class for all levels, you’ll learn how to paint a staple to any Wisconsin walls: some cow art! We’ll look at different techniques to paint: white clouds in a sky, distant tree line, grasses, and bold shadows on your main subjects. All professional supplies included to paint this 8×10 inch painting. The Swiss Cow outline is printed directly onto your watercolor paper, so no drawing is required!
This class will be held at Schumacher Farms Park inside a renovated, climate-controlled barn. There won’t be drinks or snacks for sale during the class, but please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. Floral Bouquet Greeting Cards Class at Juniper Hill Flower Farm
Join us for an afternoon of flowers, painting, and sun!
During this 2 hour beginner level watercolor class, you’ll relax and paint two 5×7 greeting cards with floral bouquet designs inspired by Juniper Hill Flower Farm! This class is great for beginners as the template is printed directly onto your watercolor paper- no drawing needed!
Please wear sunscreen, hats, and appropriate clothes for the weather as this class will take place OUTSIDE at picnic tables under large umbrellas for shade. We will be painting among the flowers, so before class, we’ll take a quick walk through the farm and snap some pictures to use as inspiration. Then, we’ll sit under the shade and paint two different floral bouquets. After, you can full up your cup with flowers to take home, if you haven't already

Magnolia Bloom in Watercolors (FULL)
In this 2 hour class, you’ll practice controlling your pigment and water to create a blurry background. We’ll also look at how to paint a magnolia bloom using a wet-on-dry technique to help it pop off the page. The magnolia bloom outline is printed onto your watercolor paper. All supplies included to paint an 8×10 inch painting. Skill Level: Beginner to intermediate

Spend the weekend exploring the beauty of watercolor in a relaxed, welcoming setting—no drawing skills required. In this class, you will paint your own dog! We will start by outlining our pups with a black, waterproof pen and then layer on colors step by step.
But you don't know how to draw? NO PROBLEM! I will come to class with your dog drawn on your paper! That's right- this isn't a drawing class- it's a painting class! Let's not waste time on drawing! You’ll be asked to send reference photos of your pup to the instructor upon registering for the class.

Flower Bookmarks at the PBS WI Garden Expo
Learn some basic watercolor techniques as you paint your own floral bookmark using watercolors. Emily Marie will guide you step by step in painting 2-3 bookmarks each. See how fun painting your garden can be!
All levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
