Comfrey is a flowering plant in the borage family. It is also used medicinally to treat wounds. This illustration is on the cover of the book “Just One Comfrey” and it refers to its ability to spread at an alarming rate. The author of the book suggests that just one comfrey plant is enough for your home garden or food forest. I wanted to highlight the lime green of the curled stems, so I added some of that color to the background too.
